Step 1：瀏覽句意，找出主結構，“a few psychological researchers have ventured” (一些心理學研究者敢於做一些事)。

水手們冒著生命危險去巨大的海洋探險。
Madeline feels very insecure about her marriage.

Step 2：介係詞片語“out of the dark realm of mental illness into the sunny land of the mentally hale and hearty”(從心理疾病的黑暗領域進入心理健壯的樂觀國度)，修飾主要子句。合併之後→一些心理學研究者敢於從心理疾病的黑暗領域進入心理健壯的樂觀國度。
