很多同學看到句意解析的題目就很害怕，其實只要先找出句子的主結構，就可以輕鬆的依據句意找出解答，這篇的題目比較長，不過只要著英銘老師的解題步驟，同學就可以理解了，老師補充的單字和例句也都要一起記住喔！

Step 1：瀏覽句意，找出主結構，“it may be because the approval of others forms an essential part of our capacity to believe that we are right.” (這可能是因為別人的讚許，形成我們能力的一個重要部分，去相信我們是對的)。

Step 2：副詞子句“if we are prone to burst into tears after only a few harsh words about our character or achievements”(如果在僅僅一些關於我們的個性或成就的嚴厲話語之後，而經常哭了起來)，修飾主要子句“it may be because the approval of others forms an essential part of our capacity to believe that we are right.”。合併之後如果常常在聽到一些關於我們的個性或成就的嚴厲話語之後，而淚流滿面，這可能是因為別人的讚許，形成我們能力的一個重要部分，去相信我們是對的。背後的含意：我們常受別人的話語，來影響對自己的看法。
