Step 1：瀏覽句意，找出主結構，“Cigarette consumption is greater among lower-income households” (低收入家庭對香菸的消費量比較大)。

消費推動經濟發展。

Step 2：副詞子句“than among higher-income ones”(在較高收入的家庭中)，修飾主要子句“Cigarette consumption is greater among lower-income households”。合併之後→在低收入家庭中對香菸的消費量，比在較高收入的家庭中更大。含義：窮人比有錢人抽更多的菸。
