Step 1：瀏覽句意，找出主結構，“There is no such thing as a great talent” (沒有偉大的天才這件事。)。
補充：
such…as 諸如…之類的 (always)
I don't like such a woman as tells lies.
我不喜歡一個像這樣會撒謊的女人。
talent n. 天資、天才、藝人 (always)
Larry has great talent, but he doesn't work hard.
Larry很有天賦，但他並不努力。
Wendy is a new gymnastics talent.

Step 2：介係詞片語“without great will-power”(沒有強大的意志力)當副詞用，修飾主要子句“There is no such thing as a great talent”。合併之後→沒有強大的意志力，就不會有偉大的天才。
